This scheme is called Precious Poetry and is for a minimum period of 12 months and a maximum of 36 months. Monthly installments should be paid regularly on or before your membership date. You must bring your membership card at the time of payment of installment amount and you must ensure that the payments made by you have been correctly entered in your membership card.
The mode of payment may be in cash, account payee (crossed) cheques and drafts payable at Chennai. Out station cheques, Postal Orders and Credit Cards will not be accepted. You name and membership number should be clearly mentioned on the reverse of the cheques and drafts.
Incase of default in payment of monthly installments, your eligibility for purchase will be postponed to that many months your have defaulted. If you wish to withdraw from the scheme before maturity, the cash incentive paid at the time of joining the scheme will be deducted from the total paid up and jewellery can be purchased fro the balance amount. In case of premature withdrawal, no bonus or interest will be paid. Under no circumstances, cash will be refunded in lieu of jewellery.
On maturity of the scheme, you are eligible to the following benefits, in addition to the bonus amount:
You are eligible for a rebate of 50% on the making charges on plain and ordinary stone studded jewellery. Wastage and stone charge will be charged. If you opt for antique jewellery, designer jewellery, specially made jewellery, a discount of 5% will be allowed on the total value of your purchase.
If you wish to buy diamond jewellery you are entitled to a discount of 5% on the cost of diamonds; and in case of platinum jewellery, the discount will be 5% on the total value of purchase.
All purchase under this scheme is subject to sales tax at the applicable rates.
The purchase of gold coins, silver coins bullion will not allowed under this scheme. Also this scheme cannot be closed during special offer periods. The benefits of the scheme cannot be availed in combination with any other offers available.
The conduct of the scheme is subject to the terms and policies laid down by the Central and /or State Governments from time to time. All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Chennai.
